An unusual background development layout by Paul Julian. Featuring a illustration of a young lady in a yellow dress entering a room of aristocratic gentlemen, the hand-painted art was created during film development. Julian is most known for his work on the Looney Toons cartoons, primarily the Road Runner. The multilayered cel and background was acquired as a collection titled The Young Visitors, with documentation including character names and dialogue. We have little information on the project but assume that the background was part of that production. Measuring 11"x22.5" overall, with the character image measuring 10"x18", the background is in good condition with some of the cels sticking together in places, and minor edge wear due to studio use.
